For Pets and Pet Lovers

What can I do for a family or friend that recently had a pet die?  We get this question  A LOT!   Since our pets are part of our families a nice way to honor the pet and/or pet lover is by sending a monatary donation in the pet's name  or the pet owner's to a  charity. 

We received our first memorial in honor of Max (Scooterman) before our website was even up!  Sending cards with the Rainbow Bridge or Rescue Bridge poems to the owner is always appreciated.  Both poems are on our site. 

We also have our first memorial to a pet advocate.  For a person that is passionate about animal rescue and animal care this is wonderful tribute to their memory.  Check out the In Memory Of...section of this page.

To send a donation for a person or pet you can pay using PayPal or send a check to LWDR at 15710 Bedford Ave., Omaha, Nebraska 68116.  If you would like a picture on our site send that with a brief note along with your donation. All donations to LWDR are tax deductible.

The memorial donations we receive  go to our precious rescue dogs.  This money is used for medical care and transport costs. 

In honor of Mattie, two very thoughtful donations have been made in her

In memory  of Tristan and Maggie my first two foster dogs.
