Message: Just wanted to take a minute to thank the LWDR volunteers (Sandy, AJ, Karol & Ellyn) who made our adoption of Mortie such a pleasant experience. Mortie has settled in to being a part of our family quite nicely and has adjusted well to being spoiled. He gets along with his "siblings", BoBo and Riley - but he and Riley have become fast friends and wrestle buddies! We wondered why Mortie hadn't been adopted sooner, because he is such a sweet little guy, but realized that it was because WE were meant to be his "forever family"! Thank you for all of the great work that you do to find these precious little souls good homes.

Message: I'm sorry, but although you have many, many dogs of all colors that I would have loved to adopt, I have to question just how much you really do want to find them homes. It has been 20 days since I filled out an application on your site and have not even been contacted as of yet. I realize your foster families are busy, but I think when people inquire about adopting a pet, it is because they want one as soon as possible, not a month later. It seems you could have at least one person in your organization who could respond.
How many dogs are missing being part of a loving home because prospective adopters are not being responded to?
